 About Me

I am an Assistant Professor of Accounting at Boston University's Questrom School of Business. My research interests include: 

My teaching interests include financial accounting, managerial accounting, and financial statement analysis. I currently teach AC 221 (Introduction to Financial Accounting) at the Questrom School of Business. 

I hold a PhD in Accounting from The University of Texas at Austin and Master of Accountancy (MAcc) and Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degrees from The University of Georgia. I am an Active (Non-Reporting) Certified Public Accountant (License Number: 31554) in Massachusetts.   

Prior to academia, I was a Business Analyst in the Atlanta office of McKinsey & Company, where I primarily served automotive original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) on growth-related marketing and sales topics including pricing strategy, promotional incentive programs, go-to-market strategy, and dealer performance management programs.  I also supported the codification of knowledge related to this work, including this article here: A virtuous cycle for growth: Finding profit after the initial sale

I also host a podcast called Company Cars that draws upon my experience in the automotive industry to explore topics related to the automotive business (Accessible here: Company Cars)

My personal interests include studying the automotive business, the airline industry, traveling, cooking, podcasting, and watching college football (Go Dawgs!) and various television shows (recent favorites include Killing Eve, Emily in Paris, Hacks, and Owning Manhattan).
